The Tide, who will host Hawaii, scored bottom 2nd on Conley’s home run. After Dunne struck out the side in the 3rd, two more runs scored on Locke’s homer. Conley opened the Bama 6th with her second homer. Jacobson relieved Kiihnl. Dawson hbp, Fenton walked, Branham moved the runners with a sac bunt; Boccia’s sac fly brought Dawson home; Fenton scored on a throwing error. Lipscomb finished 50-12, 18-2 in Atlantic 10.

#1 Hawaii 7, #3 Texas Tech 1 Hawaii advances to Super Regionals
Hawaii will play Alabama in Tuscaloosa

The teams traded runs in the 1st. Tech’s Kenney drew a walk to start the game, advanced on Legler’s sac, and scored on Bledsoe’s double. After Majam led the bottom with a homer, Hawaii loaded the bases with one out: Gonzales walked, Rodriguez and Aguirre singled; no score. Yoshikawa homered in the 2nd. Hawaii is one of the best home run hitting teams, and showed that talent in the 3rd when Gonzales and Rodriguez hit back-to-back dingers. The Hawaiians staved off a Tech threat in the 6th, which left two Texans stranded. Hawaii scored three final runs bottom 6th; Grimes homered (the team’s fifth this game). Yoshikawa singled, Majam walked, with two out, Rodriguez singled, two runs scored. Texas Tech 38-18.
Region 9: Columbia MO 2pm
#1 Missouri 4, #2 Illinois 2 Missouri advances to Super Regionals
WP Kristin Nottelmann. LP Monica Perry. Missouri will play Oregon in Super Regionals
Both teams scored in 1st. At top, Missouri’s Taylor walked, Lee doubled, Taylor scored on Fleming sac fly. In bottom, Zymkowitz reached on an error, scored on another error. In 3rd, Taylor tripled, scored on Lee single. Marston reached on fielder’s choice with sac/bunt, but reached on error at 3rd, pinch runner Young scored. Pepper Gay relieved Perry; Missouri scored again. 4-1. Illinois narrowed the gap when Hackett led the bottom 6th with a solo shot, but the next three batters went down in order. Illinois stranded a runner in the 7th. Illinois 45-8.

#2 Oregon 4, #1 Georgia Tech 3 (8) Oregon advances to Super Regionals
WP Mikayla Endicott. LP Hope Rush. Oregon will play Missouri in Super Regionals.
Georgia Tech scored two runs, bottom 7th, to tie 3-all. The Ducks scored a run, top 8th.
Oregon scored top 2nd: Fulava singled, with one out, Vitek walked, bases loaded; Kivett walked, rbi. Tech tied in 3rd on Yee leadoff home run. With two out in 4th, Kivett singled, Burger tripled rbi, Bryant singled rbi, 3-1. Tech 7th: Bear singled, Jones walked; one out, Kuzma singled rbi; Weseman given intentional walk; Priebe singled, rbi. Score tied 3-all. Endicott relieved starter Jessica Moore, and struck out Rush and Jordan, leaving bases loaded. Re led Ducks 8th with single, Deadmond in to run; Deadmond advanced on wild pitch and on Vitek sac bunt. Kivett’s sac fly scored the go-ahead run. Three Techsters went down in order, two on strikes. Georgia Tech 51-11.

#1 UCLA 7, #3 Fresno State 2 UCLA advances to Super Regionals
WP Aleah Macon. LP Michelle Moses. UCLA will play Louisiana-Lafayette
Bulldogs took lead bottom 1st on Michelle Moses 2-run homer. Camuso tied game with 2-run homer top 2nd. All quiet on the Western front until the 6th when the Bruins added four runs. Odd sequence. Camuso walked with one out; Murray pinch ran for Camuso; Lindvall pinch ran for Murray. With two out, Bates reached on an error; DiSalvatore singled, rbi. Monica Harrison slugged a 3-run homer. Burney’s homer in the 7th ended the scoring. Fresno State ended their season 41-21. As ESPN noted, Fresno State is the only school to earn a berth in all 29 NCAA tournaments.

#3 Louisiana-Lafayette 6, #2 Texas A&M 1 Louisiana-Lafayette advances to Super Regionals

Scoreless until the 4th. After Arbino relieved Melissa Dumezich, the Cajuns scored 4 runs. Cormier scored on Verde’s single; Bridges jacked a 3-run homer. The Aggies got one back in the bottom when May homered. ULL scored again in the 5th; Dumezich relieved Arbino. The Cajuns closed out the scoring top 7th when Gaspard scored on Verde’s double. Texas A&M 44-16, the sixth 40-win season for coach Jo Evans.

WP Hillary Bach. 3-hitter. LP Blaire Porter. Arizona State will play Florida
ASU 1st: Boyd scored on Rogers’ single. Donnenwirth and Lockwood drove in runs. ASU scored four runs in the 3rd, three on a Carlson home run, 7-0. Marker and Lewis singled in the Blackbird 4th, and Martinson drove in the LIU run. A wild pitch and base hit in the 5th gave ASU the 9-1 lead. Long Island finished the season 39-18.

Big bat day in Gainesville. Top 1st: Enea hbp/rbi; Schutte grand slam. FIU responded with two, rbi double by Rojas, sac fly by Welch. Brooks belted a 2-run homer in Gator 3rd. After Griadek relieved Barrett to pitch the 4th, Enea was hbp again, loading the bases, Schutte drew rbi walk; Bush doubled in two runs; DeFelice rbi single. Rojas led the FIU 4th with a home run. The Gators added a run in the 5th. Florida International 38-21.

Shager went down swinging, stranding three. OU 1st: Huey fouled out to 3rd, the first ball put in play. Flores reached on error at 2nd, Shults singled hard to right. Vandever forced Shults at 2nd. Nix flied to right. Top 2nd: Callahan looked at a third strike, Richards beat out a comebacker, Bright whiffed, Dearborn popped to Ricketts. OU 2nd:Ricketts, Anderson grounded to short; Jones singled to left, Dobbs fouled out to 3rd. Rams 3rd: with one out, Pellechio singled to right center; Fisher and Wiggins fanned.OU 3rd: After Huey and Flores popped up, Shults laced another hard single to right center. Nix hit a Texas Leaguer which dropped in for an error on the left fielder, Sallis scoring. Ricketts slashed the Sooners’ fifth hit to center, driving in Shults, 2-0. J Reid scored on Arioto’s single, top 1st. The Bears then crushed the Buckeyes with a five-run 2nd. E Reid’s rbi single, was followed by two more runs, capped by Arioto’s 2-run homer. Cal closed out the scoring in the 5th, Echevarria scoring on Sevilla’s single. Ohio State 39-14.

Top 1st: Wiggins 1-out homer. Goler doubled, Hesson tripled rbi,, 2-0. Snooks relieved Kelley. Top 2nd: Hubbard scored on Wiggins single, Pauly (double) scored onGoler sac fly. 4-0. Bottom: Beall, Cunniingham singled, Williams doubled, rbi. 4-1. Georgia 4th: Three consecutive doubles – Pauly, Schlopy, Wiggins – booted the score to 6-1. Jenkins relieved Snooks. Razey opened the Dawgs 5th with a solo HR. Dawgs 6th: Hesson doubled in pinch runner Couey, 8-1.Erin Arevalo relieved McCloud and ended the game.

Hofstra broke 4-4 tie with 2 runs top 12th; Wildcats pounced back with 6 in bottom, 4 on grand slam.
Arizona started Kenzie Fowler who went 11 innings, gave up 11 hits with 9 K. A slug-fest: 12 hits for Arizona, 11 for Hofstra. Hofstra scored two top 1st on Ziemba double. With one out, Schutzler and Arredondo singled, Chambers was issued a pass; Del Ponte rbi sac fly; two runs scored on an error. 3-2 Arizona. That score held until the 6th when Galati led off with a homer for Hofstra. 3-3. Both teams scored in the 9th. Michalowski scored when Galati reached on an error. Haack homered for the Wildcats. 4-4. Hofstra 12th: bases loaded, DePasquale rbi single; Michalowski drew an rbi walk. Now trailing 6-4, Arizona came back hard. Buchanan singled; with one out, Schutzler singled and Arredondo tripled in two runs; Chambers and Del Ponte were intentionally walked, reloading the bases, which Koria emptied on the second pitch with a walk-off grand slam. Hofstra 45-12.

Vols score two top 9th to win. Will play Michigan in Super Regionals.
The Cardinals put it all out there, pushing the higher ranked Vols. Louisville scored bottom 2nd on Bemis home run, and held that lead until top 5th when Tennessee ’s Grieve singled with two out, scored on Spigner’s double. The Vols broke the tie top 9th. Gibson led with a double, Hammond in to run. Kajitani singled with one out, Hammond scored; Webb reached on a throwing error; another error sent Kajitani home. Louisville 41-19.

#1 Michigan 12, #2 Notre Dame 2 Michigan advances to Super Regionals
WP Jordan Taylor 11K. LP Jody Valdivia. Michigan had 11 hits to Notre Dame’s 7.
Michigan will play Tennessee in Super Regionals
UM 1st: Viefhaus homered with two out. Irish tied in bottom when Johnson homered with two out. After UM stranded two top 2nd, Irish took 2-1 lead when O’Connor scored on Maldonado single. Viefhaus put UM back in lead in3rd with 3-run home run. Michigan added 3 runs in the 4th, and single runs in the 5th and 6th before capping the game with a 3-run homer by St Clair in the 7th. Notre Dame finished the season 47-12.

Hofstra broke 4-4 tie with 2 runs top 12th; Wildcats pounced back with 6 in bottom, 4 on grand slam.
Arizona started Kenzie Fowler who went 11 innings, gave up 11 hits with 9 K. A slug-fest: 12 hits for Arizona, 11 for Hofstra. Hofstra scored two top 1st on Ziemba double. With one out, Schutzler and Arredondo singled, Chambers was issued a pass; Del Ponte rbi sac fly; two runs scored on an error. 3-2 Arizona. That score held until the 6th when Galati led off with a homer for Hofstra. 3-3. Both teams scored in the 9th. Michalowski scored when Galati reached on an error. Haack homered for the Wildcats. 4-4. Hofstra 12th: bases loaded, DePasquale rbi single; Michalowski drew an rbi walk. Now trailing 6-4, Arizona came back hard. Buchanan singled; with one out, Schutzler singled and Arredondo tripled in two runs; Chambers and Del Ponte were intentionally walked, reloading the bases, which Koria emptied on the second pitch with a walk-off grand slam. The Cardinals put it all out there, pushing the higher ranked Vols. Louisville scored bottom 2nd on Bemis home run, and held that lead until top 5th when Tennessee ’s Grieve singled with two out, scored on Spigner’s double. The Vols broke the tie top 9th. Gibson led with a double, Hammond in to run. Kajitani singled with one out, Hammond scored; Webb reached on a throwing error; another error sent Kajitani home. Louisville 41-19.

UM 1st: Viefhaus homered with two out. Irish tied in bottom when Johnson homered with two out. After UM stranded two top 2nd, Irish took 2-1 lead when O’Connor scored on Maldonado single. Viefhaus put UM back in lead in3rd with 3-run home run. Michigan added 3 runs in the 4th, and single runs in the 5th and 6th before capping the game with a 3-run homer by St Clair in the 7th. Notre Dame finished the season 47-12.
