Each year I sit back and marvel as our girls head to their high school teams all over the area, and watch with pride as they excel in the classroom and on the field. This year is no different - except we have even more of our young ladies than ever getting ready for their tryouts next week and their seasons. Some are lucky to be in terrific high school programs, others kinda feel like they have to, and can't wait to get back to the HAWKS!
Let me tell you all, no matter where you play, enjoy your high school years, compete with your friends and against your travel teammates, and enjoy representing your schools. Play with the same pride you do as you represent yourselves and the HAWKS all summer ... and keep us up to date on all the happenings and results all spring!
To our younger players, we are getting ready for our spring seasons ... you have all worked so hard and I and the coaches in the program are more excited than ever for what you will accomplish and learn as the season progresses! Play hard, work hard and enjoy each day as it becomes a week, each week of the month, and each season in your sport and life .. life is far too short to not enjoy every moment for what it is .. and only each of you can make those moments what you wish for.
