Nora was very impatient. She hammered very first pitch of her high school career up the middle. Mikayla led off the scoring in a 5 run inning on Nora's Fielder's choice. Benet wins a sloppy home game versus Neuqua Valley 8 to 7. Nora has a new nickname..Ed "Too Tall" Jones. Next up home versus York Tuesday than Wednesday @ Naperville Central. Thursday showdown at Downers Grove South. Molly Ely and Riverside Brookfield wins 2 to 0 versus De La Salle @ the Maxx. No word on any of action. Please....Dorky Dad, do some color. Chick Magnet Please, if I missed anything, please add to this string. All this information was related to me secondhand. Congrats Rebecca!

Chick Magnet:
Great to see you this sunny weekend for the double header at Benet. More impressive was that nice spread of food you put on in centerfield between games. I noticed all of the Benet girls were eating fruit and drinking water. However- you were feeding the opposition - greasy hamburgers and cheeseburgers - what was that all about?
Your team at Benet has some real hitters and were impressive to watch play the game. I have to say those bright red and white striped pants have to go though. You looked like you were ready to take some layups in the Indiana University Basketball lineup, not the Badgers.
One last observation - how many EX Naperville Diamonds can you get to a ballgame? Everywhere I turned was another Naperville Diamond.
Lots of Hawks and Hawks shirts at the game they played well - good luck the rest of the season and thank you for the hospitality.
