The Hawks finished 1-1 in pool play in Moline.
In game 1...they lost 7-3 to the Wisconsin Bandits. Brittnie Boerema went 3 for 3 with a single, double, home run, and 3 RBI. Kalli Tobias went 2 for 3, and Morgan Kramerich and Jordan Halata each added a hit. Julie Domzalski had wonderful relief work giving up only 1 unearned run and striking out 3.
In game 2...they won 3-1 over the St. Louis Classics. Jordan Halata went 2 for 3 and struck out 4 during the game. Lauren Burgstresser went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI, and Kalli Tobias, Natalie Murray, and Kelsey Obzera each added a hit.
The girls will start the double elimination tournament tomorrow at 4 pm against a tough CA Young Guns team.
