Girls,
Good job yesterday. It was great to get back onto the field. Our team chemistry should be excellent this year. We continued to get stronger after each game.
A special congratulations to Lauren Benda who managed to cut down her time to put on the catcher's gear from 30 minutes to 2 minutes. (It must have been all that hard work running the mile)
Marisa Wakely also introduced the "Countdown". It really helped motivate everyone when we were down.
It was especially exciting during the middle of the 3rd game, when the entire team decided that they had to go the bathroom. Way to mess up the rotation girls! I'm glad we weren't playing ASA rules.
Dave Betcher was asked what he thought of the new 14U purple team. Although he evaded the question, a bystander close by was able to hear this, "Gosh, I hope we don't have to play them."
Congratulations to every girl on 14U purple team. It is going to be a great year.
Coach Craig

I thought it was great Sunday night when the girls said they wanted to bat when they could've quit because it was the last inning and we were ahead. When the umpire gave them the choice the girls said "No lets bat, let's bat!" You can't teach attitude - it's a choice - GREAT ATTITUDE GIRLS!
