Thanks Bruce - 120 teams and 85 college coaches make it all worthwhile. The NFCA camp with Jim and Craig spearheading and so many wonderful volunteers was fantastic. The tireless work they all contributed was remarkable. The tourney games were well played and Lisa and Judy did a great job running the coaches tent all weekend. One coach from Iowa told me he invited 17 players for visits from the event - WOW!
Many coaches told me they had 40 -50 emails asking them to watch a player - that is the ground work that makes these thigns successfull!
Thank you to everyone and Mike and his staff at Elgin as well.

Dave:
I just wanted to express my sincere appreciation on behalf of Chi-Town 16u Platinum for the efforts you put forth in running the exposure event this past weekend. We had a terrific time and all the games ran on time and without a hitch. Great competition with 121 teams and the college coaches - Great job.

Obviously all these responses back are from teams that did not get to experience the joys of playing on the fields away from the complex.
Will not be back next year.
Dave - very disappointed.

Well said Magic Coach - the fields that were not dragged or lined were a pleasure to play on, although the grass was so the umpires without a doubt could call foul balls that hit that far. Equally fun were the fields with home plate 2" off the ground or how about the huge dips in the batters box? Player safety? And of course, college coaches? See any off the main complex last weekend? Extremely disappointed and money should be refunded for people that were obviously secondary players last weekend. It was a horrible way to treat the girls who's teams payed the same amount of money as everyone else to be in this tournament. *NFCA - if you want people back next year, please make sure the Homer Hawks are NOT in charge of deciding who plays where. Better yet, keep the satellite fields and let Dave's teams play there.
