Waiver: The Fast Pitch Formula, all coaches and volunteers, any and all facilities, and any other participants in this program assume no responsibility for personal injury or loss of property. Participation is on a voluntary basis. All individuals are encouraged to obtain a physical examination before participation, wear proper protection for safety, and obtain suitable insurance coverage.

The fee for the complete program including all training(indoor and outdoor), video, college exposure camps, consultations, and written materials is $975. $450 due at the start of the program and $450 due 11/1/07. The $75 tryout fee will be applied to the program fee or returned if the player is not selected.

The Fast Pitch Formula is now accepting applications for the Midwest’s premier college training/recruiting program! Are you a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior in high school that has high hopes of playing softball in college? Do you feel you have the talent and the drive but the process is a mystery and you are wondering if you are doing the right things? Then you need to come to our tryouts to see if you qualify for our college training/recruiting program! The program will run from September-February and will assist you in all areas of college recruiting, training, and will put the odds in your favor to play at the next level and maximize your exposure. The spots will be limited so please respond immediately by faxing your application to 815-412-9301 or email [e-mail] to reserve your tryout spot today.
Tryouts will be held 9/10/07 and 9/11/07 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. The cost is $75 due at the tryout. The fee will be applied to the $975 program fee or returned if the player is not selected. The tryouts will be held at THE MAX – 4750 S. Vernon, McCook, IL 60525. The fee for players accepted into the program will be $975, $450 at the start of the program and $450 11/1/07. The $75 tryout fee will be applied up front.
You must pre-register for a tryout, no walk ups will be allowed. If accepted for a tryout you will receive a confirmation from the Fast Pitch Formula, please bring it to the tryout.
We will only accept players we feel have the potential to play at the college level and are committed at the highest level for the limited spots. This program is designed for the high school students who feel they have the drive and the talent to play at the next level and need help understanding the recruiting process, communicating with colleges/coaches, developing a skills video(we complete the video as part of the program), appropriate training to prepare you for college(fall and indoor winter training), playing at college campuses, participating in exposure camps with many college coaches present, and to take you step by step through the college recruiting process to put all the odds in your favor for a college scholarship. Unfortunately the recruiting process for most players and parents is a mystery and we are here to help simplify the process and assist you in every way we can to play at the next level. It is a very personalized program and communication with the players and parents will be constant throughout the program.
Over the past years the players who played for Bryce Bly or who were assisted with the college process have all been placed into college softball programs and all of them are playing in college on college scholarships. And now we are expanding the program and opening it up to all players in Illinois. This is not a travel team or travel team tryout out. This is a comprehensive college recruiting/training program open to all players from all travel teams who want to play in college.

I must say that after watching the FastPitch Formula 2 day workouts and information meetings, I am impressed by the number of student athletes looking to position themselves for college opportunities. Bringing athletes from so many programs, and having them work together, encourage each other, and inspire each other to work harder was a great thing to be a part of for sure. Thank you to all the athletes who came out for the tryouts, and thanks to Bryce and Dave Prieto for all the work and dedication they have put into this project.

There are many ways to get that break, and this is just one, but wow!!! I couldn't be prouder to be a part of something new and innovative for any student athlete regardless of summer team affiliation.
