I am very sorry to report a terrific person and friend of many in softball, Bill Buglio, from the Worth Park District passed away this morning from a long battle with cancer. Bill is a man who wanted to see girls softball played on his fields and worked very hard with myself and DD to make that happen. He gave so many hours to the community, and although I have only known him for 2 years, he made quite an impression on me as someone who gave so much to the community.
His wake is Sunday from 3 to 9 pm at Schmadeake at 107th and Harlem in Worth.
Bill, you will be remembered as a caring family man who worked for the youth of his and our communities. A class act and a good friend. Bill will always be remembered by so many.
