Super job to all 3 Hawk teams in Northlake 18 U Qualifier! What a day ... arrive at 7 am and leave at 11:30 pm!!!
The Hawks finished in 3 of the top 5 places ... with the Hawks 16 Black losing a slugfest in the Championship game to the Lemont Rockers 18 MP ... it was a game for the ages with moon shot after moon shot being traded as the lead bounced back and forth! I am so proud of our young ladies for battling all day against terrific competition!
The Hawks 16 Purple and 18 Black teams took home 3rd and 5th place as well, with both teams only loss of the day coming to the Hawks 16 Black. Looks like another great year in store for all our older teams, trying to keep pace with the younger teams successes of the spring!
Our HAWK GOLD team finished in the top 16 at blue Springs Gold Qualifier - going 2-2 on the weekend!
Congrats to Lori and our 12 Black for another championship finals appearence, although this time we settled for the bridesmaids position for the 1st time!
Craig and his 14 Purple played up in Oak Lawn at 16 and did not back down from anyone, winning a thrilling 1-0 game Sunday to place themselves in front of the tourney winning Bandits... the 14's held their own falling 8-0, but staying close much of the way and preparing for this weeks Compuware action... where 4 of our Hawk teams will compete while Eliot and the 18 Purple will be battling in Pennsbury and Ali and the Gold are off to Germantown.
