WOW!!! Another great weekend for both HAWK 16 under teams ... the Purple ventured to Wood River and battled through the rains, knocking out the New Lenox Lightning to make it to the final 6 ... where the Hawks lost a heartbreacker in 3 ITB's to the Lady Lakers!!! Awesome job girls!!!
The Black ventured to COMPUWARE - taking on many talented and quality opponents from throughout the MIdwest!!!! ... winning our 1st 6 games saw the HAWKS Black in the championship game vs the team they defeated in their first pool game .. the PC Pride. In a battle for the ages, the Hawks dropped a thrilling 4-3 game and proudly return to ILLINOIS with our runner up performance.
Both teams prepare this week for the ASA National Qualifier in Elgin!!!!
