WOW ... what more can we say each and every weekend ... another proud and stellar showing throughout the land!!!
12 Black battled some great teams at Compuware, falling short in the end, but proving they belong with the big dogs each week!
14 Black - tough performance at NSA State, but ready to comeback this and every weekend!
14 Purple - played well at Compuware, battled the juggernaut and high scorinf Akron Sapphires 2-1 to fall from the quarterfinals, nice run, no one else could hold this team down.
14 TEAL - NSA STATE CHAMPIONS!!! From the losers bracket, after miscues sent them to the bottom of the heap after game 1 - Hawks won 9 straight games, 7 on Sunday - to take home the crown. Kudos also to the White Sox, who have been the State runner up to the Hawks the last 2 years at 14!
16 Purple - great run --- top 5 finish at Wood River, finishing ahead of many regional powerhouses! Tough 3 ITB loss sent the Purple home.
16 Black - what a run at Compuware - pitching 4 shutouts along the way and only allowing 8 runs in 7 games against some powerhouse offenses, the Black lost the championship game to the team they beat in their opening game, the PC Pride.
18 Purple - Pennsbury once again deluged by rain -- but Purple showed well winning 2 of 3 games!
18 Black - super run at COMPUWARE National Qualifier - placing 5th after staying in the winners bracket till the 4th round. Knocked off by tourneys runner up in a tough loss.
18 Gold - ventured South to play top programs in Tennessee - did not dissappoint - finishing 2nd in the sweltering heat and getting ready for our next Gold Sector tourney!
Whew ... good thing the 10's and 12 Purple were off ... I am tired now ... lol ... have a great day, we know everyone in Hawkland will!
