Congrats to the Mustangs for winning their softball regional Championship last night with an 8-3 victory over a tough and well coached Beecher Jr High - the 2006 defending state champs. Nice job girls!
Next up is the Sectional final Saturday with a trip down state again in the balance ... several of our Hawks are also on Oak Prairie who is tied 6-6 in the 10th of a game with Minooka, winner plays Homer Saturday.

Oak Prairie finishes up their game against Minooka today at 4:00 pm out at Troy Junior High in Plainfield. Lets keep our fingers crossed!!

Oak Prairie pulls out victory in bottom of 11th, 7-6 over Minooka. These two teams went 8 innings last year with Minooka winning so now they're even. Congratulations to all the Hawk players on both Homer and Oak Prairie. Saturday is going to be a great game. Either way, we will be well represented at State

Great job!!!! The battle of Homer coming up Saturday ... it should be a blast and no matter what - we will have 2 winners and no losers in this game of the year! Good luck to both schools!!!!

Yeah the game is WAY out in no mans land!! I think it will be a great game, and like Dave said, there will be no losers in this one!!

Congratulations to the Oak Prairie Lady Bulldogs on winning your first Sectional title. You played a strong game from start to finish. Best of Luck downstate on Friday against Metamora.
