Congratulations Hawks 16 Black for your 1st place finish in Wisconsin this weekend. The team scored an impressive 26 runs over the weekend WITHOUT ALLOWING ANY RUNS AGAINST! Keep working hard - you're looking good. We had a lot of fun!

Regardless of the venue, 16 Black continues to win with their solid pitching, hard hitting and defense. That kind of play earned them the right to be called Tournament Champions as they battled to win the Hitter's Sportsplex Championship this past weekend in Middleton, WI. (Kudos to the facility....IMHO, the best indoor facility that we've ever played in.) The Hawks shut out each and every one of their opponents en route to the championship (an 8-0 Victory over the Wisconsin Bandits), with a 1-0 nail-biter thrown into the middle of it all, against a tough Kaukauna team. The Hawks were nearly perfect, averaging almost 7 runs a game, giving up just a handful of hits and playing error-free defense over the weekend.
Special thanks to Ashley Parenti for traveling with the team. She contributed greatly, especially on defense in our 1-0 squeaker.
