This is the most wonderful concept and event I could imagine. From Bustos - Drohan - Lenti last night to the quality of teams ... first class all the way.
Day one - saw us allow Zero earned runs - but split our games vs Indiana Magic and Texas Magic. Our defense rebounded in game to helping us prevail 3-2 after suffering a 5-1 loss to Indiana in the opener. Everyone dug down and played Hawk Ball in ame 2 and we are back on our happy trail!!!!
Come on out over the weekend for an awesome experience!

Another solid day for the Hawks. Game 3 saw the Hawks prevail 4-1 vs Virginia Diamonds and then we dropped a heart breaker 1-0 to the East Cobb Bullets with a late inning run in Game 4.
The venue continues to excel and the college coaches in attendance are tremendous!

Great competition - mixed results. We started off Saturday witha solid victory over Colorado Styx. But, after holding a 4-1 lead late in the game - we could not close out the Tulsa Elite. That dropped us from 2nd to 3rd in our 8 team pool - and forced a battle with the Texas Glory Shelton - one of the tourneys favorites. They got us 6-2 to eliminate the Hawks - but not after an exciting and strong tourney showing on the field and with the college coaches! Thank you to so many colleges for following us and your comments on the team and out players ... so many good things coming along for this group!
Next weekend we play in the Gold round robin at Lincolnway West!
