I sure hope that everyone is ready for the big party tonight. I have been working hard to get these baskets, raffle and door prizes together. We have something for everyone tonight. We have so many goods and services donated by faithful Hawk families and friends that it will astound you. There will be door prizes given out throughout the night so make sure to turn those tickets in. The smaller raffle tickets will be at a cost of $2 each or 3 for $5. The bigger raffle prize tickets will be $5 each or 3 for $10. There are prizes for every age (including 2 8GB ipods!!!) so make sure that everyone is involved. I look forward to seeing you there!!!  |

Wow, what a great night!!!! A special thanks to Mary Hansen for all the hard working setting this up for us. It was so nice to see Hawks from every team at every age group hanging out together. That is what makes the Hawks what it is, parents who care enough and girls who know how to play!!!! May this be the start of an awesome year for everyone. High School ball is right around the corner and we look forward to seeing many Hawk names there too. Again great night and I hope we have many more!!!
ps Warpaint I sent you what pics I had from last night. I sure hope they get up soon.

Hello Hawks, Family & Friends, I would like to personally thank everyone who participated last night in helping to make our 1st Hawks Candlelight Bowl a success! Whether you helped during the event, donated gifts, brought in Lane Sponsors, or brought your friends and family to bowl, your support, patience and understanding was truly appreciated as we took on our first attempt at what I hope will be an annual fun filled evening for us all! I must admit the evening grew to be much more than my original thought, of a fundraiser that would incorporate some family fun during the winter months. I am learning quickly they do things “Big” here in Hawkland! And everyone pulls together to make everything we touch a little bit bigger and a little bit better as we go along. I’m proud to be apart of an organization filled with such great people! A special thank you to Tessa McGuire for handling all the prizes, bringing all the festive hats, wigs and sabers you did an amazing job Tessa – Thank you! And to my buddies Lynn, Emily, Deb, Jeremy and Alex you’re the best…thanks! Mary |
