What a day - the 10's played in a round robin at Chitown defeating the Munster Magic 5-4 on a sqeeze bunt then getting a terrifc effort from everyone in knocking off Chitown 7-0. Hawk pitcher Becky threw 4 perfect innings!
The 12's Quain had to leep pace so they finished their tourney in McCook undefeated today to earn the AFA National bid with a solid performance.
That kept the pressure on the 14's who played very well today in sweeping their 3 games and also winning an AFA National bid in a very solid team effort!
The Hawks 12 Carter held tough - spliting their first 2 games against stiff competition - then entered the final game and trailed 2-1 thru 4 innings before getting knocked around a little in the end and falling into 2nd place ...
Pretty nice showing for all the Hawk young teams in action today !!!!
