Well - we battled all day in Frankfort Indiana and came home with a split. The Indy Dreams were ready in the opener and capitalized on some poor defense from the otherwise consistent Hawk defense to take down the Hawks 6-4. It was about time we played a bad game and defense and baserunning shot us down. The second game saw a much better prepared Hawk team take on the Shockwaves and come home with a come from behind 7-6 victory. The Hawks jumped out 2-0 in the first - then were caught at 2 in the 3rd inning. The fifth inning saw the Hawk defense again suffer a let down - falling behind 5-2. The girls dug in during the bottom of the fifth and scored 5 runs to take a 7-5 lead - then hold on in the 7th for a 7-6 victory. Nice comeback and good effort after a couple miscues and mix ups put us in a hole.
