Hawk 14's have solid day in Quad Cities

The Hawks continue their hard working winning ways with a 3 game sweep of their pool on Saturday! The opener was a DOOZIE!!!! with the game going 2 international tie breakers until the Hawks finally prevailed 3-2! Great game - awesome defense and pitching - more details to follow tonight . The Hawks then went on to defeat the QC Firebirds and Illinois Xtreme to set up today's elimination rounds.

Thanks once again to our fans and families on the great support all day and the fantastic lunch and dinner barbecues and birthday bash! What a great birthday for yours truly!

Well the incredible streak came to an end this afternoon in Moline. After knocking off the Berwyn Bash 7-2 this morning to reach the semis - the Hawks thus far stellar D had a couple mishaps and the come from behind cardiac kids were unable to get untracked vs the QC Firebirds.

Coach Dave is very very HAPPY with everyone's overall performance once again this weekend - we won't always be perfect - but we will sure work our tails off to play our best! All your parents and coaches are extremely proud of you and will be cheering even louder next week!

Next up is the HRP Mothers Day AFA National Qualifier.

What a great weekend. I see such great thing for all these girls. They really know how to pick eachother up and never give up. I always enjoy watching them and look forward to many more Sundays in the sun. We will see you all on Thursday (have other stuff happening Tue and Wed).
