The Hawks Are Looking Good at McCook.
McCook Illinois - 2:33 a.m.
HAWKS 14U PURPLE
The 14u Purple are showing their toughness tonight with some huge victories. The Purple showed up ready to play with a great win against the Orland Park A's by a score of 12-0. The Hawk ladies not only had the bats blazin', but the defense was as solid.
The 2nd game saw the Hawks Purple squaring off against the always tough Lemont Rockers. The Hawks battle late into the game and came a way with a 2-0 victory. The ladies looked like they were in mid-season form. Congrats Purple and keep up the great work.
In the 3rd game (on going as we go to press) the Hawks are up by a score of 2-0 early on against the Naturals. Keep up the great work and lets finish the night, 3 and 0.
HAWKS 14U BLACK
The 14U Black play hard and come away with two victories early in the night. The first victory the Hawks win 3-2 against the Naturals. The girls started out a little slow but finally got in the grove to prevail.
The second game the girls came out swingin' the bats and came away with a 6-2 victory against the Orland Park A's. Congrats girls on the win and be ready for the always tough Oak Park Windmills.
The Girls are currently early in the game against the Windmills and are holding a 1-0 lead. As the bats heat up, we hope the Lady Hawks come away with their 3rd victory of the night. We will up date either at the end of the game or when we get up and going on Sunday (afternoon that is)
