Hawks 14U Win Championship Rockton, Illinois - The Homer Hawks 14U went undefeated Sunday January 27th to win the 2nd Annual Hononegah "Duel in the Dome". Betcher's 14U team was running short on 14U players and brought up some of the Hawks 12U and 10U players to fill-in for this 14U tournament. The ladies looked sharp going 4-0 and driving in a whopping 47 runs. Congratulations to the Lady Hawks and many thanks to the 12U and 10U players who played up for this weekend and who contributed greatly to this championship.

I happened to be walking through Rockton Sunday when I heard all the excitement and ran into the building to check out the action.
Yeah yeah the girls were playing hard, but what impressed me was the good looking man writing all those notes in a big book. He looked so at peace drawing lines and scribbles.
When I asked people who this dazzling scribe and historian was, who reminded me of Socrates, they said he goes by Dexter. That is all I needed to know.

To the Homer Hawks, Congratulations to your organization for such a fine performance on Sunday...Now, let us discuss the fines that will be assessed during your stay...Ms. K. Betcher for spilling a full size pop at one of our fine restaurants and causing falldowns by yourself and Ms. Vizza... Ms. K. Lacivita for damaging 2 lights from your towering shots...One bent and the other now not functional... Just kidding girls...
