3 Hawk 18 u hurlers ready to lead Lockport into battle this season ... and they didn't even mention the 4th pitcher also a Hawk 18 u player and junior.

14. LOCKPORT: The well is rarely dry for the Porters, and coach Marissa Chovanec will offset graduation losses with sophomore catcher Samantha Stanicek and pitchers Sarah Porzel and Kim Malacina. The junior class is loaded and together with sophomore pitcher Dana Bowler will make life easier for the rebuilding Porters.
Include the Lincolnway Central leader and pitcher for our 18 Hawks -
20. LINCOLN-WAY CENTRAL: With six starters graduated, here's another rebuilding job in the southwest suburbs. But the Knights' best hitter, first baseman Alicia Abbott, and shortstop/pitcher Carly DeMarco will keep coach Dick Mandella's team near the top. Infielder Gabe Gavoni, like Abbott and DeMarco, was an all-conference pick last season. Watch for sophomore Jackie Dugan.
