PROUD MOMENT FOR PAPA HAWK

Unbelievable - the HAWKS Topel 18 under team, several of which have played for me since they were 7 years old ... are all going off to college! This roster has 10 girls playing at the school of their choice in 2007 - one going to U of I but opting not to play - and one a junior who will go where ever she desires based on her academic and athletic accomplishments to date. I can remember the first day of practice with Brit - Kim - Sarah as we started as Yankees with my wonderful daughter Jenny ... and all the memories we have had together. it was so tough to let go of this group this season, their last, so I could move down and coach my younger daughter and build again... but knowing that each girl was going to be set for college made that decision so much easier. I salute a special group of student athletes, along with those who have already gone on to college this year in Kelli, Lauren, Bethany and Kara. We won't forget Nicole, Alea or Amanda as well as long time Betcher Hawks.

What an accomplishment for SO MANY ATHLETES - I am just so proud to have been associated with so many fine families and student athletes!
