Christine Durco's first-inning single was the only hit for Mother McAuley (4-2, 3-1) in the GCAC Red affair in Wilmette. Mighty Macs pitcher Jackie McGivern (1-1) allowed two runs on four hits in 5 1/3 innings. She also struck out six.

Carly Norton hit a three-run homer and an RBI double as Oak Forest (8-2 overall) captured the South Suburban crossover win in Oak Lawn. Diana Pickrum (8-2) gave up three hits in pitching a complete game for the Bengals.

Suzie Rzegocki (1-0) tossed a no-hitter, striking out 15 in the process, as Lemont (4-2, 2-0) won the South Suburban crossover in Burbank. Rzegocki and Leah Challenger each had two hits and an RBI for the Indians. Reavis fell to 1-7, 1-2.

Christina Trojanowski's RBI single in the bottom of the ninth propelled Evergreen Park (5-5, 1-2) to the South Suburban crossover win.
Jessica Welcome (3-for-4) had two RBI for the Mustangs and Mandy Bachler (2-for-3) knocked in a run.
Tinley Park 7, Argo 5
Paige Swaim tripled, homered and totaled three RBI as visiting Tinley Park (6-3, 3-1) won the South Suburban crossover in 12 innings. Swaim (5-3) also struck out 13 in registering the victory. Katie Bunn tacked on three hits and two RBI for the Titans.

Jessica Finnigan hit a three-run home run and Colleen Madden drove in three runs as Oak Lawn (3-5, 2-2) cruised in the South Suburban crossover.
Rich East 11, T.F. North 1
Evelyn Bona (4-for-5) and Devin London (2 RBI) each homered for visiting Rich East (4-2, 3-0) in the SICA crossover. Sara Turk went 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBI for the Stars. T.F. North fell to 1-4, 0-2.

Stacey Struzynski scored on Sam Baumgartner's double in the bottom of the 11th to give host Homewood-Flossmoor (6-1) the nonconference victory. Struzynski also was the winning pitcher, allowing three hits and striking out 23 in a complete-game effort.

Amanda Istad hit a three-run double in leading Eisenhower (3-3, 1-2) to the South Suburban crossover win in Blue Island. Jenny Taylor added three hits, a run and an RBI for the Cardinals.

Jess Mandac went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI, but host Chicago Christian (0-2 overall) lost the Private School League game in eight innings.

Alante Carpenter (3 runs), went 3-for-4, including a grand slam and five steals, as visiting Curie (3-3, 2-1) claimed the Public Red-South victory in five innings. Natalie Marquez (3-for-4) homered and had four RBI and four runs for the Condors.

Alex Hanes was 2-for-3 with four RBI as host De La Salle (6-2, 4-0) won the GCAC Blue contest in five innings. Meteors pitcher Carly Christopherson (5-0) tossed a two-hitter and struck out nine.

Courtney Dunker’s two-out single in the bottom of the eighth drove in the winning run for host Lincoln-Way Central (7-0, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Carly DeMarco (4-0) scattered three hits and struck out four for the Knights, who also received contributions from Cassie Redman and Sarah Shizas (2 hits each). Sandburg dropped to 6-1 overall.

Jessica Scott (6-0) had 13 strikeouts in her second perfect game in a row for visiting Crete-Monee (10-0, 2-0), which claimed the SICA South game in five innings. Katie Hannagan hit two home runs, including a grand slam, for the Warriors.
