Yes - the past weekend was another example of why the Hawks are the program to be with now and in the future.
The Hawks Topel - with every player except our lone junior who is being highly recruited as we speak set for college - took the Elgin tourney in style! CONGRATS TO ALL THE GIRLS ON A WONDERFUL TOURNEY. They are now headed to Woodriver and the battle for the ASA National bid.
The Hawks Ali - who you followed on the site in Colorado - finished tied for 25th in Aurora - the highest finish of any Illinois team in the tourney ... going 3-1 in pool play then 4-2 in the elimination bracket - great crowds of college coaches saw the Hawks show why they are such a hot ticket on the tour this year. This follows a strong 3-2 showing in the Las Vegas Gold Exposure Event ... and sets these young ladies up for the battle in Wood River for the ASA National bid -- remember - many on this roster represented the Hawks in Owensboro last year as the Hawks took 9th out of 144 at the 18 under ASA NATIONALS -- followed closely behind by our other Hawks who finished 33rd at the same 144 team national event.
2007 is still rolling and 2008 is just around the corner - come see the HAWKS WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
