In a stunning turn of events --- our Hawks Topel went undefeated in Wood river to win the National Bid to the 18 under NATIONALS IN COLLEGE STATION TEXAS THIS YEAR!!!! But before the final out was made --- how's this for the HAWK PROGRAM. The HAWKS ALI team fought back from losing their first two tourney games to play 6 games today - lead our other Hawks 4-2 in the seventh inning - where Topel's Hawks tied the game - then won in international.
How proud I am to have my old team run the table two weeks in a row - and for my Hawks Ali team to battle shorthanded all the way from the losers bracket to the championship game ... what a testament once gain for our program!!!!
The Hawks Topel boast several players who started with me at 7 under and condition to make the HAWK LEGACY AND PROGRAM WHAT IT IS - Thank you to all my girls!
To0 both teams ... CONGRATS ON A GREAT TOURNEY ... I am proud of you both!
