Thank you again Dave for an awsome weekend of softball. The competition was great and the weather was perfect. Good luck the Hawks DB and Chitown Black in Oklahoma. Have fun and represent all that is good about Illinois softball!!

The ASA HALL OF FAME bid we won this weekend is something unique and quite an honor. Only 24 teams in the country are invited to participate in mid June in Oklahoma City at the ASA HALL OF FAME Stadium complex - home of the college world series. The excitement and honor is out of this world! The bids are divided by region and are not even available each year at every age group ... the bid we earned this weekend represents our Region - 10. There will be many of the top teams in the country in the event - from California to New York and from Oregon to Texas. We could play anywhere from 3 to 8 or 9 games depending on how the marbles fall. Although the official date is not posted yet - it is likely it will be Fathers Day weekend - around the 15th of June.
