:)The Hawks 18u Black finished in the top 5 in Portage, IN this past weekend. We went 3-1 in tournament play and were in our 5th game when the tournament was cancelled due to weather. In pool play we tied both.
In game 1 vs. the Michigan Bombers we tied 4-4, Tori Spears went 1-3 with an RBI, Brittnie Boerema went 1-2 with a 2 RBI Home run, and both Morgan Kramerich and Kallie Tobias went 1-2.
In game 2 vs. the McHenry Heatwave we tied 0-0, Brittnie Boerema went 2-2, and Tori Spears, Natalie Murray, and Brittany Bochenek each had a hit.
In game 3 vs. the Indiana Outcast we won 11-2. Trisha Dugan went 2-2 with an RBI. Brittnie Boerema (3 RBI), Natalie Murray (RBI), Jenny Festin (RBI), and Kelsey Obzera (3 RBI) all went 2-3, while Trina Grande went 1-2 with an RBI.
In game 4 vs. the Winamac Silver Streaks we won 8-1. Sydni Benton went 1-2 with 3 RBI, and Tori Spears went 2-3 with 2 RBI. Morgan Kramerich, Kristen Priessler, Brittnie Boerema, and Natalie Murray (2 RBI) each added a hit.
In game 5 vs. the Illinois Angels we won 5-4. Tori Spears and Kristen Priessler (3 RBI) went 2-2. Jenny Festin went 1-2.
In game 6 vs. the Michigan Bombers we lost 9-6. Kristen Priessler went 1-2 with a grand slam, while Tori Spears, Natalie Murray, and Kallie Tobias each added a hit.
All of the pitchers, Kelsey Obzera, Sydni Benton, and Julie Domzalski did a great job for us on the mound battling the conditions!
