3 - TINLEY PARK ROCKERS
In the first game the girls played very well and took on the Tinley Park Rockers beating them 6-3. Despite a run by the Rockers late in the game, the Black held strong and came away with their 1st victory of the day.

0 - QUAD CITY FIREBIRDS
Next up was the always tough Quad City Firebirds. The Older Firebird team came to play with a loaded team that has at least 4 Varsity High School players from the Quad City area. But the young Hawks held them until the last inning and capitalized on a Firebird miscue and came away with a 1-0 victory.
