No - you can attend as many as you feel are needed - all depends on the athlete and the fit for the program ... we will give you feedback as we conduct each tryout.

LOL ... no stumping the Hawks ... make one of the multiple teams and you shall see ... there will be multiple teams at 14 as well as the other ages.

We are putting our faith in you, Dave! But perhaps a little more info on coaches at the 14U level would ease some concerns. Other teams have named their coaches. It would be a shame to lose good players to other teams/tryouts b/c of the uncertainty. GO HAWKSl

Are you really a Hawk parent? If so you would then know what I have in-store. Can't wait for September 9 and the season to begin. Also - anyone who does not trust what the HAWKS are and how I have built it is more than welcome to check out greener pastures ... I know in Hawkland we have the greenest pastures around. And yes - I am managing one of the 14's.

The 10 thru 16 under is indoors - no need to worry.
The 18 is ouside at Homer Jr high - think positive ... it will not rain. If it does - we have tryouts Thursday and Saturday for 18 under as well.

How many 16U teams are you going to have and is Mark Raber coaching one of them?

No - you can attend as many as you feel are needed - all depends on the athlete and the fit for the program ... we will give you feedback as we conduct each tryout. Although the 18's tryouts were cut short due to the rain, the athletes were told that if they didn't plan on attending all the tryouts, then don't bother to come back. Sounds pretty cut and dry to me.

I think The Administrators posts speaks for its self
"... all depends on the athlete and the fit for the program"]
the Admin went on to say:
"...we will give you feedback as we conduct each tryout"
So I think you got the feedback for the athlete(s) and you were given the feedback at the tryout.
Some age groups and teams may, and will have different requirements depending the coach, the expectations and the tryout it self. In this case it would sound as though the early rain out my have altered the need to have everyone at every tryout.
The flexibility will more than likely change as the age groups progress and you move to a more competitive level (i.e. 18U and 18U GOLD)

The 18's heard from Ali that those interested in the opportunity and exposure of the Gold team needed to show their committment and interest. Ali is very demanding, and her results speak for themselves. That is why she is in such high demand to play for each season. Her passion and honesty surpass any shortcuts others may wish to take.
Unfortunately the first tryout got cut short by rain ... but that won't cut short the opportunities for her girls to earn their spots on her roster.
Thank you to everyone at all ages who came out last night.
